MrMemorial will want to know what that has to do with Vanderbilt. So be prepared.

It's a good question. How does Vanderbilt benefit from Michigan playing well and winning?

They're in the Big10 which is generally hated on VU forums. They are a giant state school with a 100,000+ seat stadium... checks all the boxes for being despised by most VU fans.

Why get jiggy over a Michigan win?

Since I was small I have always hated OSU, probably born in a huge dislike for Woody Hayes. It has carried over.

Mr. M can KMA.

But to answer the question, MOST thought tOSU was a lock for the playoffs. It was simply news that they would no longer be a consideration.

Of course Woody Hayes was a jerk and a hothead and a horse's rear. And coached in the Big10.

Bobby Knight was a jerk and a hothead and a horse's rear. And coached in the Big10.***

*** Yet you see people still willing to stick up for him for some reason.
