Two former Franklin assistants at Vandy in line to become head coaches next year

Post by BrentVU »

A recent (premium) article on ESPN.com listed assistant coaches who will probably be in line to move into head coaching vacancies next season. Two of them, coincidentally, were on James Franklin's staff at Vandy in 2011-13. One is Brent Pry, Franklin's defensive coordinator at Penn State (his defense has been particularly stout this season). The other is Josh Gattis, now Jim Harbaugh's offensive coordinator at Michigan, a big reason why Michigan is undefeated and ranked No. 6.

Ricky Rahne, Franklin's QB coach at Vandy, moved into a head coaching role at Old Dominion before the start of this season.
