I remember Vandy's lockdown corner Fred Vinson was out with an injury for that game, and it spelled bad news. Couch went on to turn pro after that season. In fact, it was probably coaching Couch at UK that springboarded Leach's career; he went on from there to Oklahoma and Texas Tech.
Leach won't have Tim Couch today though.
