What have we learned in this first half? The first is Wright is our QB. He has way less playing time but more effective on the field 7-11 for 161 yards. The second is we need to stop running up the middle or option out wide. Just run it wide gap scheme or misdirection / sweeps (not every time but please some more). Where is our TE? We make no plays to TE and that needs to change. Also, we are bringing more pressure and it is working. Unlike the long down and distance plays for TDs. Also, don't throw a fade on 3rd and goal from the 5 and then go for it on 4th. This should be a 1 point game.

Hopefully our HC can engineer a defensive stop on USC's first possession in the 3rd quarter, that's been a problem just like starting the game.

Wright threw for 161 yards in the first half.

The INT was bad. But a lot of it was good.

The vision and poise were very good.

We really settled down after USCe's first two possessions. Defense has come around, Offense has more misdirection and motion. Just need a TD on our first possession of the 2nd half.

There is the chance Seals would be tearing up SC’s d.

The fact is: Wright’s legs, with this o-line, gives us an entire new feature - we don’t have to be restricted to the short stuff. He can buy time to open up downfield plays.

We're in this game which is awesome. The D has some nice stops. The O has some big plays. We hit a field goal, and hopefully our kicker is back on track. I think Wright should be the starter in future games. As he gains experience he'll just get better. His legs add an additional dimension to our offense that we need. I think this half shows overall team improvement. I'm interested to see the adjustments each coach makes at half.

Did y'all see that play from Wright. Qb run, it's not there, gets a big pass play to get us a chance at a first down. Seals is done being the starter IMO, he had his chance to shine and Wright's light shines brighter

We called the time out to allow the review that costs us 10 yards.

Not great. This review guy needs to be banned from our games. The incomplete pass call on the fumble was appalling. But he has ruled against us on six plays and 2 were terrible. The fumble and the first target.
