Frankly near every poster on Auric’s “call the game” saw this coming. Sucks for the kids and the fans. Gonna be a few more of these before things start getting better.
We were outplayed in every aspect of the game today. Hopefully we win next week and play competitive football with some of the league’s lesser lights.
And hopefully the staff keeps this from totally falling apart and adds a strong recruiting class.
If patience is a virtue…here’s to our very virtuous fans.
On to UConn

UConn now up 13-0. 2nd quarter.
Wyoming travelled a long way to sleepwalk their way through a "UNLV game all over again" for them.

Re: On to UConn
Agreed.
UGA is a national championship caliber football team. Their talent is off the charts and they are thoroughly marinated in a culture of winning.
Florida may be about the same or perhaps a notch below - but likely another blowout against a very superior team.
If Lea and Co can keep the team together and improving constructively there are some games later in the season that are not totally out of reach.

I did not notice any injuries today but was not able to see the whole game. That was my biggest hope for today that we wouldn't get decimated in that regard as well.

Re: On to UConn
UConn up 13-3 at the half. Wyoming was a 31.5 point favorite and looks like crap.
We are going to have trouble with the UConn QB when he pulls it down and runs. He's fast and shifty.
If we don't put a "spy" on him, it's a dreaded "L" next week. Not exaggerating.
