I’m ashamed of some of my earlier comments. I usually try to keep my posts positive but I let frustration do my typing. I’m proud of the team and I hope they can build off of this game. We all know this is not going to be a good season for wins but I just want to see them compete and show heart.

Both the offense and defense looked like completely different second half. A few big plays got the confidence up and they played with belief in themselves....Hopefully they can continue to build on this.

Now we should always beat the FCS schools but something Corey said during the broadcast made me think a bit. He mentioned ETSU had a successful spring season. I wonder if the fact the fcs schools just played a season has them more in mid season form and that's why there have been so many upsets by FCS schools. Still have to win that game but I wonder if we would have been better off playing Uconn week 1 and ETSU in week 5.

What a difference a half makes. We let up 306 yards in the first half! Gutsy win. And it's nice to have a FG kicker and for that matter a RB because without those transfers we lose.

We had the ball for almost 21 minutes in the second half. (ended up winning time of possession battle for the game by a lot... around 11 minutes, I think)

Except for the ridiculous 81 yard punt their guy had, our special teams were clearly better.
