What a future SEC Super Conference would look like is not knowable yet but here is one way to do it with all teams getting an equal share of $ due to additional “championship” game, more TV inventory and added markets.

Championship game first and second place play in Atlanta winner gets auto bid to playoff, second place at-large bid to playoff or Sugar/Cotton bowl bid.*
Schedule includes all teams in group plus one permanent crossover in group b and one rotating crossover group b for a total of ten

Especially TCU and Virginia joining the SEC. Not in most of our lifetimes.

Already “concerned” for the health and safety of the student athletes because of the 12-team NCP, I can’t see an extra conference championship game being allowed.

It’s okay, though, to have a 7-overtime game.
