He is the Florida player who was selected preseason as the potential SEC Player-of-the-Year in 2020.
Johnson collapsed on court just before or early into a game with a heart ailment. He played only 4 games in 2020, sat out the entire 2021 season, and is now the leading scorer for Kansas State … which plays Florida this afternoon.
Although he would certainly deserve a Medical Redshirt for 2020 and 2021, my question is:
Does Johnson still get a Covid Year as well and get to play five full seasons? He is already 23 years old; could be a 25-year-old senior.
OT: Remember Keyontae Johnson?
