I recall a game about 30 years ago when Ronnie McMahan went 0-3 at the line versus South Carolina when we had a 3-point lead near the end of regulation. SC hit a 3-pointer and won in OT, IIRC.
McMahan was usually a fine free throw shooter.

CJS shoulda called timeout with 3:30 left up 7, stopped their momentum and allowed guys to reset and get breather.

Go for the long inbounds pass if they get it they only have 2-3 seconds for a 3. On the opposite end of the hoop.

Whew. The cardiac dores make it interesting, but pull out a huge win. We really did everything we could to lose the game at the end. All in all a great win and one of stack's best coaching jobs so far to date.
