Re: Vandy/Temple
I would make them shoot free throws nonstop until Shane dezonie transferred back or knoxville froze over whichever first
Re: Vandy/Temple
Jordan Wright cannot be “the guy” taking the last shot. He will turn it over every time he’s in a pressure situation. We have to setup a play for Stute, Robbins inside and to a lesser extent Lawrence. I desperately wished Wright would’ve taken a step forward but instead he seems to have regressed.

Re: Vandy/Temple
He went for 18 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and only 2 turnovers. Shooting could be a bit stronger (50%), but I thought he played a solid game, including some tough defense and handling the ball when needed.Vandy6 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 8:32 pm Jordan Wright cannot be “the guy” taking the last shot. Re: Vandy/Temple
Don’t overlook Manjon who just missed a double double with 11 points and 9 assists with ZERO turnovers. Oh yeah, and the game winner pull-up off the dribble. (3 reb and a steal for good measure)
He showed lots of poise and leadership tonight.

We definitely have to get better at free throws. Going 3/10 (someone correct me if I'm wrong there) is not good.

Did he go to Temple for more PT? The box score I’m looking at shows 2 minutes.UltimateVUFan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 6:21 pm Shane Dezonie into the game for Temple. Fun… maybe the team can get motivated to actually play now.

after briefly committing to St. Joe's. Hate it for him. He could always transfer again, I guess..Versus75 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 12:07 amDid he go to Temple for more PT? Re: Vandy/Temple
It seems we commonly see the argument made that open transfers are in the best interest of the players. I couldn’t disagree more. What a terrible experience to bounce from school to school with no stability. That seems like a very sad college experience.VUaskew wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:56 amafter briefly committing to St. Joe's. Hate it for him. Agree with your point. Only problem is that you are trying to apply logic in observing college sports .UltimateVUFan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 11:39 amIt seems we commonly see the argument made that open transfers are in the best interest of the players. He got what he paid for, both athletically and academically.OldDude wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 12:12 pmAgree with your point.
