Vandy-Pitt thread
Hows it looking for us to get to watch the men play Pitt on ACC network?

Re: Pitt game
I believe the ACC Network is like SEC Network in that it is part of ESPN. Maybe it depends on where you live. I see it on the list of games I can get through watchespn/espn3.com.
Re: Pitt game
ACC network is on ATT Direct. I stream YouTube TV and it also has it.
As posted above it’s on the ESPN app as well.

Re: Pitt game
ESPN+ is worth the $6 a month. The number of games available is epic.
Between mens/womens/G-league hoops, I count 44 games on tonight live. If you missed our last game, it will be there on demand.

Re: Pitt game
Just to clarify, too, the game is also being shown on the traditional ACC Network broadcast and not just streaming online. That assumes, of course, that you have the ACC Network in your package.

I saw it listed at 8pm (provided the FSU game doesn't run over) on ACC Network. Re: Pitt game
Vanderbilt is a 3.5-point favorite tonight. A win would partially offset the disappointing loss to Virginia Commonwealth (and provide another reason to be thankful on Thanksgiving Day).

Re: Pitt game
I always thought this was a funny piece of karma. Jeter used VU as an audition for Pitt and ultimately ended up playing for CKS anyway.

Re: Pitt game
Pitt is a far worse team than VCU, and the fact that we are favored on the road is a testament to that. We can still lose of course, but so far they have a 15 point home loss to the Citadel, a 4 point win at home against Towson and an 8 point home win against UNC Wilmington. None of these teams are good and those results portend a long season for Pitt.nyyankeeDore wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 7:27 am Vanderbilt is a 3.5-point favorite tonight. I would think that unless there are a tons of fouls called against us that our defensive pressure should result in a lot of TO's for Pitt - they have a number of players who are turnover prone and one out of every four possessions have ended in a TO so far this season. Like Winthrop they have a very large post player. Our ability to handle him will likely determine the outcome.

Re: Pitt game
I hope Will Perdue doesn't foul out again and we have to rely on Barry Goheen heroics. Wow, what a game that was . . . . .

Re: Pitt game
VCU just beat Syracuse and three Boeheims by 12 points.
The Rams coach must be asking his guys (who beat Vanderbilt and Syracuse): “Why didn’t you play like that against Wagner and Chattanooga?”

Re: Pitt game
One would think with all the TV money at stake, ESPN would hire someone smart enough to figure out that a game that starts at 7pm EST (Boston University @ Florida State) may not be over in time for the start of the 9pm EST game in Pittsburgh.MrMemorial wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 5:52 pm
I saw it listed at 8pm [CST] (provided the FSU game doesn't run over) on ACC Network.
In a situation like this, I will have to listen to the beginning of the game on the Vanderbilt app because even the streaming platform doesn't have the correct time.
I will try to log on at 9:02 EST, 9:03 EST and even later and still get the error message:
YOUR GAME HAS NOT STARTED YET. PLEASE TRY AGAIN AT 9:00 EST
I've usually got it by the time the Under 16:00 timeout commercial kicks in.
P.S. As I write this the FSU game has about 6 minutes of playing time left and the Vanderbilt-Pitt game is supposed to start in 10 minutes.
