Interesting Off Topic, still basketball

From Wednesday afternoon until today, the number of unbeaten teams in Division I basketball dropped from 98 to 64. Chances that will drop by another 40% by the end of next week.

Part of that is the mid-majors are closing the talent gap. Look how many "p5" type teams have already lost a game to a "mad-major" this season. Pitt, GaTech, etc. The list is growing. We're not alone.

I think the topsy turvy nature of roster transition also prompted this. So many players playing together for the first time inevitably means there's going to be more off nights early in the season.
