Honestly I’m glad to get his scholarship off the books. He never panned out.

I think under the COVID rules his scholarship wouldn’t have counted against VU next year anyway. However, he will probably find a better fit at a lower level than the SEC. VU needs a serviceable grad transfer big man in the worst way, but the grad transfer market has not been kind historically.

He was better in a number of ways this year. He learned to dunk, he held his space on defense (he often was the only one who could against other bigs) and hit hit free throws. Plus, he seems to be a genuinely good person.

He is a first class, great ambassador for Vanderbilt University! A finer young man you will challenged to find....he will do well in life!!
