Two Canada Prospects, Other News

Postby dore43 » Thu Sep 13, 2018 9:07 pm

There is a 6'3" point guard in the class of 2019 beginning to picking up steam on the recruiting trail named Jahcobi Neath. CBD and staff are heading up to to Toronto to take a look at him along with a 2020 shooting guard at a school in Quebec named Karim Mane this weekend.

With Nico Mannion ruling us out as expected and no remaining offers to true PGs in 2019 - Neath may be a name to remember. He's unranked on 247, but holds offers from schools like Santa Clara, Iona, Western Kentucky, and New Mexico. Neath's also a member of Canada's FIBA U18 national team.

Here's some footage:

I have no footage on Mane.

In other news, James Wiseman did not have his in-home today with CBD. He took an unofficial visit to Memphis instead. The in-home is delayed for at least a week.

CBD also visited with 2020 stud Keon Johnson again.

And in player rating news, SF Chris Ledlum who has high interest in us, jumped from #136 to #95 in the latest Rivals rating update. Hopefully, CBD can make a trip to one of Northfield Mount Hermon's open gym Mondays as lots of high-major coaches have been in attendance. The High School announces on their men's basketball Instagram page every week which programs will be in attendance. We have not been listed yet. Needless to say, Ledlum is yet another kid CBD got on early before he ascended up the rankings. This is becoming common for CBD - he has a tremendous eye for finding guys and establishing relationships with them early before other programs jump aboard.
