Big loss for Contreras, serving and up 40-30. She loses, so her opponent is serving for the championship..

Damn. Contreras breaks serve to go down 5-3.
"Fight on, my men," Sir Andrew said, "a little I’m hurt but not yet slain. I’ll just lie down and bleed awhile, and I’ll rise and fight again."

Meyer up 4-2 now, but will it mean anything...

Yes! Contreras breaks back to pull within 5-4. Needs to win her serve.

I can't take too many more like that last Contreras game. Tense.

Contreras tied 5-5 right now.

Stanford serving. She's got back to deuce.

Contreras almost came back from 40-0 to win her game, but now she has to win her serve to force a tiebreaker.

Can you imagine the whole championship riding on a tiebreaker? Wow!

Also, for what it's worth, Sharma (and Payton Robinette who apparently is a walk-on) are the only graduating seniors on the team.

what happened on the point where Contreras was ahead 15-0 in the last game?

It looked like we were up 30-0 - but then we weren't?

Just wondering?

That was tight. Tough to lose it.

It's just so hard to get these opportunities that it always hurts to lose. You just never know if you ever get another shot.
The program is still loaded. We lose Sharma, perhaps the best we ever had, but everyone else who made an impact is back next year.
