Good win for her today in the 1st Round of the French Open! Congrats!
Watched Astra in the Australian Open last night. Going in she was ranked 120-something playing a Japanese 70-something.
Astra started strong, winning the first set 6-2, then struggled with her serve and unforced errors. Lost in 3 sets.
Still looks to have a promising career, especially in doubles.
BTW, announcer said Sharma studied Medicine at “Vanderbilt College.”
