Underdog yet again

Titans started out as a three point underdog to Indy, though it is creeping lower and lower (-1.5 now).

All 5 of the Titans win came as an underdog, usually as a significant underdog. And no matter what happens, they will very likely be the underdog at Houston a week from Monday.

Yes, the Colts are playing well during this three game win streak, and the Titans have never beaten Luck. But I would be very surprised to see the Titans lose this one. You have the #1 scoring defense vs. the #26 scoring defense. The Colts 3 game win streak were over the Bills, Raiders, and Jags, three of the worst teams in the league. The Titans are coming off one of their best wins in ages over the Patriots.

The Titans just need to keep playing like they have these last 10 quarters. Luck hasn't been sacked in three games, so hitting him early will help a lot. The Titans offense needs to keep scoring at least one TD a quarter.

On one playoff prediction site, the Titans have a 50% chance of making the playoffs right now. A win Sunday moves it to 62%, while a loss drops it to 27%. This is a crucial game, and with the Texans playing at the Redskins, the Titans have a decent chance to move back into first place.

Ever have one of those days where everything that can go wrong does? Today was that day for the Titans. :(

I just hope Pees and Mariota are ok.
