Ostarine is the trademarked name for a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM) that is NOT approved for human use or consumption in the U.S., or in any other country.

Due to his concussion last year, Lewan has been taking more supplements to help reduce inflammation in the brain. It is likely one of those supplements was bad, causing the failed test.

What is weird is that he passed a drug test in April, but failed the one at the end of May. So he either added something during that time or he received a tainted batch.

I certainly do not believe that he was trying to cheat. But these players have to be extra careful with all the supplements they take, testing every single batch for issues.

BS

The primary corticosteroid used to control cerebral edema (brain swelling) is dexamethasone.

I know this firsthand. Long story, you don't want to know.

On the other hand, Lewan tested positive for Ostarine. Ostarine is the trademarked name for a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM) that is not approved for human use or consumption in the U.S., or in any other country.
