Young Team = inconsistent early play
We arguably have more talent than we may ever have had, but much of it is young. We lost an exhibition match at Memphis and in this early season are 1-0-1, having most recently been tied by Purdue who also had a draw with UK. We have been dominant in shots on goal in games, but the final execution - meaning scoring has been frustrating for all. Expect execution on offense to improve. Defense has been solid except in the side kick Purdue scored on. We will be good later in year. Ranked 18 now.

Well we lost to Western Ky at their place despite out shooting them. They won on penalty kicks an overtime match. The young team needs to convert on all the opportunities. We are now 1-1-1 and face top 5 Duke on Sunday at home.

We lost 0-2 to # 5 Duke at home. Scoreless first half followed in 2nd with a penalty kick goal and a later goal. We still have work to do, particularly offensively. A young team learning the hard way through playing and making mistakes. Execution on offense is the problem area.
