Fed Ex Playoffs

Post by Titans309fan »

After the first round, Snedeker only dropped 5 spots to 35. What surprised me is that List made the cut but still dropped two spots to 31.

List had his worst round by far today (74 after shooting a 70, 69, and 68).

Next up is the Dell Technologies Championship near Boston. Note, it is a Fri-Mon tournament because of Labor Day.

It looks like Sneds will barely make the cut at +2, while List had a great game today (69), but it wasn't enough to overcome his horrible round yesterday (76). He will likely miss at +3.

Both will still make the third round, but both need good finishes next week if they want to make to the final tournament.

Sneds was on fire today! He shot a 5 under 66 (including an eagle on 18) to move up 28 spots to a tie for 40th. If he could continue his hot shooting tomorrow, he will only help his FedEx cup standings.

Brandt finished in a tie for 31st, which is pretty good considering he was at the cut line after two rounds.

Going into the third tournament, Snedeker is in 32nd place and List is at #40. Only the top 30 make it to the championship, so both have work to do.

It`s put up or shut up time for Sneds this weekend. He is a net 21 Points out of 30th place. But realistically he needs a significant net gain to assure himself of a spot in the Championship round. Brandt just needs to put together a consistent 4 rounds. He can get a top 15 finish if he doesn`t have a "blow up" round

Not a great start for either today. List shot even par (tied for 48th), and Brandt is at +1 (tied for 57th). There is no cut luckily, so each has three more days to improve. But for either one to advance, they need to finish in the low 20s.

List had a good 66 to move up to -4 (tie for 34th). Snedeker shot just a 69 to get to even par and is way back in 62nd place.

It looks like the end for Brandt and Luke. Brandt is near the bottom, while Luke is in 38th place.

List still had a tremendous year, while Brandt had a much needed win.

Brandt ended the season in 40th place, and List ended in 45th place in the FedEx Cup. Not bad, but something to improve on next year.
