ncaasports.com has links to individual and team live scoring. 2nd round today (Saturday).

‘Dores 9 strokes back of the Top 8 cut after rd 1

Question: The lowest 4 of 5 scores counted yesterday. Do just The lowest scores from each day count? or after four rounds is it the cumulative 4 low scoring golfers?

Based on how it is being scored today, each day takes the lowest 4 scores. It looks like Will Gordon had the worst score yesterday, while Reid Davenport has the worst score currently today, and Reid's score isn't counting (at the moment).
'
The first goal is to get in the top 15 places after three rounds. Vandy is in 16th place right now, though just one shot behind 15th. If they do that, they get to play a fourth round, though they have to be in the top 8 to advance after that.

Did not realize there is a cut after 3 rounds.
Vanderbilt played even par today while only a few teams broke par.
We are alone st no. 11, 2 strokes from teams tied for no. 8.

Keep movin’ on up!

That was a really good performance by Vandy. Hopefully they can have another solid round tomorrow.

No. Top 15 teams after Sunday qualify to play Monday. Then the top 8 teams after Monday qualify for the championship, which is match play.

What a move up by the Vandy boys! They will definitely make it till tomorrow, and they have an excellent chance to make to the match play championship.

They dropped down to 6th place today, but that is still good.

Vandy is sitting at +18 going into today. That is an 11 stroke lead over the 9th place team, so as long as they have close to an average round, they should advance to the match play side starting tomorrow.

In match play, #1 seed plays #8, #2 vs. #7, etc, with all 5 players on each team participating. Whoever gets 3 or more points advances. Both the quarterfinals and semifinals are Tuesday, with the finals being Wednesday.

Oklahoma State has dominated so far, but everything is reset for match play.

Then we must get to 6 or 7 and avoid Oklahoma State until the final.

Vandy off to a really hot start (7 under) to move up to 2nd place by 2 strokes. It's early (golfers have played 3-5 holes), but a good sign.

Will Gordon finally playing like the 7th ranked golfer in the country. He is -5 after nine holes. The Vandy team playing the front nine today is the Vandy team capable of winning it all.

Vandy still dominating today with a 6 stroke lead over the third place team (though still 25 behind Okl State).

If the round ended now, they would play Stanford, who is really struggling today (+18 for the day).

Texas A&M is the only other SEC school likely to advance (Auburn just is too far behind).

Vandy clinched the #2 spot with an impressive -3 today. Our opponent is still likely Stanford.

Now it looks like TAM will be our opponent.

Vandy is up by two holes in three of the 5 matches against TAMU, and they are tied in one. It's still early, but it's a good start for the team.

Stanford (6 seed) has an early lead over Wake Forest (3 seed). If Vandy wins this morning, they will face the winner of that match this afternoon.

Martin won his match, but it is still up in the air. They are leading two and behind in two, and there are a max of 4 holes left in each one.

Augenstein has won as well, but we are behind in 2 and tied in the last one. Hopefully we can win one of them.

Ott lost. Davenport is down 1 going to the 18th. Gordon is still tied, so the match likely relies on him.

Stanford has advanced to the semis.

Davenport lost, and Gordon blew a huge opportunity to take the lead. Now both he and his opponent are on the bottom of a huge hill by the green.

The good news is that Gordon was able to get it back on the green, while his opponent didn't. He should take the lead back here on 16. Gordon has never trailed this match, but it has been tied up three times.

Gordon did win the hole, so a win on 17 or 18 wins the match and lets Vandy advance.

A bad tee shot and bad sand shot by Gordon on 17 has let TAM win it to tie the match. Going to 18...

Both missed the green on 18, so it comes down to who can get an up and down.

Huge par putt for Gordon!!! Tough putt left for TAM to tie...which he makes. Going to an extra hole.

Unfortunately TAM hit an awesome drive that is just a wedge away while Gordon hit his into the trees for a possible penalty. Looks like Vandy will lose. :(

Gordon wasn't out of bounds, and he actually has a chance to par the hole with two good shots to get within a makeable putt. The TAM player can win it with a birdie putt, so Gordon will have to make his putt to have a chance.

Made the par! TAM doesn't have a gimme here...AND HE MISSES!!

Vandy advances!!!!

What a clutch performance by Gordon after the terrible tee shot. To hit three great shots while the TAM player did not make a great shot in the end.

The only bad thing is that Stanford has rested for an hour and a half. But we are in the FINAL FOUR!
