I give Reilly credit for rallying here.
Again, two quick outs - finish the inning.

Re: Tech #2
Five runs in the game through two innings. All reached base via a free pass.

Re: Tech #2
Nice at-bat by Keegan.
He doubles on the ninth pitch - and Bradfield scores from third.
Bradfield's legs again do damage.

Re: Tech #2
Gonzalez is trying to homer too much - there was a long stretch where he was going for contact.
Bradfield gets HBP - we need another run.

Re: Tech #2
I'd tell Reilly, the next guy he walks he's out.
Already 40+ pitches. Ump also giving him nothing.

Re: So Tech's starter has an ERA
Now down 3-1. We had momentum - and we have given it away.
And Reilly is still in. This happens so often - unhittable for two batters and then a total loss of focus.
I really wonder why Little dodn't get the start tonight.

Re: So Tech's starter has an ERA
Reilly needs to get the next batter or come out.
We are down 2-1. He has gone 3 balls on the last four. He had to groove one to Milloy and gave up a hit.

Re: So Tech's starter has an ERA
Sometimes I hate how predictable our problems are.
Two quick outs - followed by three walks. Bases loaded with free passes.

Re: So Tech's starter has an ERA
Walk and wild pitch. Someone go talk to him. This is familiar. And he just needs to settle down. Good stuff tonight. But the way Tech hits longballs - free passes are very dangerous.
Finally after another walk they go talk to him.

Re: So Tech's starter has an ERA
Reilly gets the first two - lazy fly and K with a 97 mph fastball.
Sometimes it is with two out that he loses focus. Show me something.

Re: So Tech's starter has an ERA
1-0 on Bradfield's legs. Bulger flies out for a sac fly. Keegan swings at first pitch even though Tech guy is struggling to find the plate. Grounds out. Rodriguez grounds out too. Observations: we should have made Huff throw more pitches and prove he could throw strikes. He is a fastballer - so hope...

Re: So Tech's starter has an ERA
Georgia Tech error on throw trying to catch Bradfield. Bradfield at third with no one out.

Re: GA Tech
4-3 win. We really had control - but a troublesome ninth made it close.
Maldonado looked great tonight. But we may need to start thinking about not throwing him more than two innings...

Re: GA Tech
A two strike HBP comes back to roost again.
2 run homer with two out in the ninth.
Maldonado had delivered good stuff all night.

2 hits for Vandy through 7. But we lead 4-1.

Re: GA Tech
Maldonado looks good.
And to be fair, he did get a couple of close strike calls.
Maldonado went heavy on curves against the Tech sluggers. It worked.

Re: GA Tech
This Georgia Tech pitcher throws the off-speed stuff that stumps us. I'd sit on curve.
We need a couple more runs.
