The team we swept on the road to begin the SEC schedule thrashed the 14th ranked one we host for the SEC finale. UK won that series but I bet we can take 2 out of 3 from them.

Final: Tennessee 8, Vanderbilt 7

I think getting one of our guys thrown out by a mile at home plate earlier in the game may have come back to haunt us.

3 up, 3 down for VU in the 6th. 6-5 VU.

UT gets a solo homer in the 5. 6-5 VU

We leave two on in the 5th. Bleday got his third hit of the game. My gosh, we've missed him.

Vandy scores 6 runs in the 4th.

Vandy up 6-4 after a Martin double.

Vandy's got the bases loaded with Martin up.

DeMarco just had a 2-run homer. 4-2 UT. Bleday also just doubled.

Hickman struggling.

The UT pitcher has had 7 pitch innings in both the 1st and 3rd.

3 up, 3 down for VU in the third. Probably a less than 10 pitch inning for the UT pitcher. Not good for us. 1-0 UT

Mason does better in the 2nd inning. About a 12 pitch inning. He hit a batter. 1-0 UT.
