Re: Around UT football fans on Thanksgiving...
Based on the title of this thread, I was preparing myself for an annoying experience as UT fans and annoying are synonyms. It takes very little to take them from apathetic to national contenders so don't expect them to be down for long. Maybe they will find satisfaction in spending tons of money in ...

Re: This WAS a winnable game
Drew - Lee, Nesmith, Pippen, garland, Shittu, Disu At least he brought in players. Agree his record sucked. But now we are bad and can’t seem to recruit. Stackhouse best recruit? Jordan Wright. Be careful, to be popular on this board you aren't allowed to say anything nice about xCBD as he is suppo...

Re: Would a win Saturday be the biggest in 50 years?
2005 win over UT to break the streak. 2008 Music City Bowl after years of losing seasons. These are clearly the top two wins in the last 40 years. Both are really big wins but it's debatable to call them clearly the top two wins in the last 40 years. I doubt you would ever get a consensus of the to...

Re: Would a win Saturday be the biggest in 50 years?
Just my two cents' worth... 2008 Auburn has to be on the list. The 1991 and 2006 wins against Georgia were probably "bigger" than the 1994 win, simply because Georgia was ranked at the time of the game in those two seasons. The 2007 win at South Carolina has to be up there, as it is the h...

Would a win Saturday be the biggest in 50 years?
I'm not saying it will happen but I'm hard pressed to think of a bigger win with bowl eligibility on the line against a team who was the #1 team in the nation a couple of weeks ago. Oh, and they are the bitter, hated rival who happen to have the most obnoxious fans in the world. As of now, I'm think...

Re: Game is officially a sell out
I guess all those UT fans really want to checkerboard the stadium in preparation for their massive bowl game against another black and gold opponent (UCF) led by their backup QB.

Re: Which Vol team choked worse...
Great question.
I am going with D ALL OF THE ABOVE. (assuming C - Basketball) is an option
The meltdowns were all glorious in their own right but the football game was slightly more enjoyable as it was a bigger stage and more people got to experience it.

What? No one is petitioning for the all greys from 2019. Looked good for a drive or two against the eventual national champs LSU Tigers.

Re: SC Hangs 63 on UtK
They were dominated by a team that scored 10 on Mizzou and looks like they lost their QB in the process. I'm not happy about an injury but I'm very happy to see those fans get what they deserve and come crashing back to reality. Well as much reality as a UT fan is capable of possessing. What a day, ...

I hope the ball boy at least got out of there without a Wildcat stealing his wallet or keys as well. Sticky fingers, you know! I hope all is forgiven though as the player likely just wanted to walk around the Lexington campus this week with a winner's hat on his head.

Re: Anyone see the great show of spotsman ship by the viles?
I hate UT as much as anyone as everyone who visits my home knows orange isn't allowed in the house unless it is a pumpkin around Halloween. Someone attempted to give me a UT umbrella for Christmas last year and it was never touched as I kind of threw up inside my mouth looking at it and just walked ...

October 15th, 2016 against Georgia in a 17-16 victory at their homecoming. The marquee CDM victory and most improbable one that eventually led to the Independence Bowl.

Mike Wright has a special place in Vanderbilt folklore for many years to come. All due respect to AJ Swann but Mike Wright is the QB of this team. Mike Wright was the QB today. Mike Wright is a leader. No need to dismiss AJ. The sentiment is not to dismiss AJ Swann but just acknowledge MIke Wright ...

At least we're not talking NCAA seeds and wasting all that money in March to travel to exotic locations like Albany, NY, Birmingham, AL, Greensboro, NC or Des Moines, IA. :D The pressure is totally off this team as the bar is almost on the floor because 25% 3-point shooting will feel like a team ful...
