I must say I thought both of those games were going to be lost. What clutch hitting we got in the latter innings. I’m hoping this series might be a turning point for our confidence at the plate.

Looks like we could use more run production in these midweek games as we only got one against Lipscomb. it is interesting that we seem to play uninspired during the midweek. I have to believe if this continues, it will affect our ranking as well as seeding at the end of the season.

Talks about how he wasn`t as highly touted as some of the other incoming freshman, but Corbin likes his tenaciousness.

What a pitching duel that was. Hickman looks to be the real deal 8 Ks today. We’re 5-1 in the SEC. Now, if we can figure out how to win a midweek game!

The Tigers held VU scoreless for the final 1.1 innings on Sunday morning to complete game 2 . The rubber game starts at Noon and will be a 7 inning affair.
