Re: Ka'Morreun Pimpton update
This kid may turn out to be a 1st round draft pick and perennial NFL All-Pro, but let him go. Maybe it's just me, but I see this class as one of the best in VU history, although the true grade won't be evident until 2-3 years in.

Re: COMING SOON - DECADE-LONG ELIGIBILITY!
Eventually we may see players being able to be drafted, and if unable to make a roster, be eligible to return to college and play. NIL money could keep some players earnings high enough to keep playing until they are 35.

Re: The Athletic story about Deion Sanders' unwanted Colorado commits searching for new home
Very bad look for Sanders, in my opinion. It's one thing to come in with a new system, new expectations, and let the roster know that maybe they should be prepared or look elsewhere. It's a totally different thing to slam the door in a recruit's face and tell him to hit the bricks. If he intends to ...

Re: OT: Possible national changes in football recruiting procedures
Now that college sports are more business oriented, commitments are like contracts. Especially if there is NIL involved. I say if you are not receiving NIL money you can transfer whenever to whoever you want. If you are receiving benefits outside of a scholarship such as money or NIL deals you shou...

Re: OT: Possible national changes in football recruiting procedures
It's interesting to me that for years, fans all over were critical of the rules against transferring freely, and the loss of a year's eligibility when doing so. They would generally decry the fact that coaches were free to move from job to job and leave recruits behind after they had "pledged&q...

Re: Ken Niumatalolo is fired
He appears to have what sound like some very legitimate points about how Annapolis requires their students to graduate/move on to the real Navy in 4 years, but West Point didn't do that. So according to him, his team was far younger than the Army team.... and far younger than just about every other...

Still, I guess that is better than a toll booth operator or a turkey inciminator.

Re: Are we going after any of the QBs in Portal? Should we?
It shouldn't be limited to the QB position, but yes is the answer. When I look at players in the portal, the ones from institutions that are academically oriented always draw the most interest as they are most likely to be Vanderbilt material. Stanford has some attrition on the heels of the Shaw res...

Re: Coach Prime should go to...
I think he could make a lot of noise at Cincinnati. With UC joining the Big XII next season, it might be the best possible scenario for Sanders. It is a Power 5 opportunity in a conference that is going to be searching for an identity as OU and Tejas exit.

Re: Who should be awarded the Heisman?
Even though I despise individual awards for team sports, I think the Alabama quarterback has separated himself away from others as the the top choice! Bryce Young has been a better QB this season than he was last season when he won the Heisman, but he won't won't repeat in my opinion. He might not ...

Re: When the 9 game schedule with no divisions rolls out
The one thing I always wanted to see was the UT game scheduled earlier in the season at least every other time it was in Nashville, so that the students could witness at least one game with the Vols during their time at VU. I thought there might be a chance of that back when UT ended their season w...

Re: When the 9 game schedule with no divisions rolls out
We should appeal to the SEC to put us in the regular rotation with all the other SEC schools and decouple us from playing Tennessee every year on the last weekend. It is simply a no win situation for Vanderbilt. I would rather get drilled by Alabama, Texas, LSU, GA.etc. at Dudley when students are ...
