Isn’t that kind of how it works though? Tracking for me started in Grade 7. Encouragement from your teachers and special privileges start basically in 3rd grade. I had a prof in college who could remember the name of everyone he'd ever given an "A" to, and he was well past retirement age.

I would hope (and it's a faint hope) that after what happened to Vanderbilt this season, the NCAA will take a new look at the selection process. But the team doesn't have the luxury of time off to sulk. Here's hoping they make the best of the situation and come out Tuesday ready to play winning bask...

No. It was villainy plain and simple.

All the teams with the least historical connection to the SEC should play each other (Texas, A&M, Oklahoma, Missouri). Throw in Arkansas and they can start their own conference.

I wonder about team morale, fan morale, student morale. Last fall, Vanderbilt lost SEC football games by scores of 56-0, 55-0 and 55-3, and now they lose a BASKETBALL game by the score of 101-44. I guess the words "pride" and "moral victory" don't enter into it anymore. One feel...

They've been doing this to a lot of teams this year.

To my eyes, Ohio State was the better team when they played Georgia.
