It probably is very good for this team to win close games - the run aways have not helped us, but these close ones can give them confidence. I think confidence is the missing ingredient on this team.

We play Thursday night SEC series with A&M that is the reason.

Timely hitting has been an issue for this team: surely everyone knows it, maybe that is the root cause-they tense up and can't relax and execute. Don't know the answer: hope coaches and players can find it. Pitching and fielding have been winning baseball.

Last night McElvein and Little combine to no hit UK. This is a good hitting UK, just ask Georgia. Anyone as proud of the Vandyboys feat as me?
