I think these awards and nominations mean a lot to Stack. He got so much shit during our, um, difficult early season times and we know he pays attention to social media..... This is all affirmation that he was on the right track, even if we didn't know it at the time.

I think Tyrin is probably doing the right thing. Pippen did, too, and it did benefit him to come back for his junior year at Vandy. I have much more of an issue with some of the other transfer portal decisions.

Don't these kids form friendships and get involved in their degree programs to the extent that they would not want to jump ship- especially after 2 or 3 years at the school? I know Stute has a girlfriend in Nashville.

I hate to lose anyone, but I think Trey is replaceable. I just loved this team, and it is falling apart, which is NOT the fault of the coaches, in my opinion. It's just the way things are now.

But why? For a better grad program? (better suited to what he wants to do?)

I trust Stack, and I know Tyrin does, too, so he is getting good advice. The advice clearly was to test the waters. I think another year would benefit him, but what do I know?

I hate this. I hope we get him back. I think we will.
