Agree.
But you've got to feel sorry for Kentucky. They were so good at cheating, and now it's legal. They no longer have an advantage over teams that tried to follow the rules...they have to compete for players on a level playing field.

Re: How Much Longer
Of course it's coaching. If not on-the-floor coaching, or practice coaching, then recruiting coaching. Bottom line, the buck stops at the head coach's desk. As far as I'm concerned, the buck should boot out the current coach and try, try again. Time to start looking, Candace. Pete, you are a long t...

Re: How old are the people on this board?
76, class of '68 I find that the older I get the less interested I am in college sports. I was a season ticket holder for most of the time from '69 to 2019. The advent of forced electronic tickets, NIL, the NCAA north Carolina ruling, and the transfer portal pretty much soured me on the concept of &...

Re: New NCAA rule change for the tournament
Disagree, Auric. This makes the home team a matter of opinion. When, for example a #1 vs. #2 happens in a 3-game series, why should some possibly flawed or disputed ranking process be allowed to give one team an advantage? Assuming being the home team is an advantage, which I believe it is.

A brilliant professor falls hopelessly in love with a truly dumb blonde. He laments to a colleague that he wants to marry her, but is afraid with the disparity in intelligence, it would never work out. His colleague, and psych expert, agrees, and says "Well, I can't make her any smarter, but I ...

An orange-clad body was fished out of the river. The Medical examiner views the body and notices a cork in the body's anus. He pulled it out, and heard "Go Big Orange". He quickly replaced the cork, and took it out again...same result. It was late at night, but he couldn't stand it. He cal...

I know BOTH of them can't lose, but maybe the teams could get into a big fight in the tunnel after the game and be suspended for the rest of the season. Or maybe a big fight BEFORE the game.

If it weren't for the electronic ticket requirement
I might consider buying season tickets this year. However, I have no desire to undergo the inevitable hassle of trying to figure out the ins and outs of the internet/phone app connections. I know I'll have to figure it out sooner or later, but it will have to wait until it's something I REALLY want ...

Re: Follow up to Brent's post re: SEC scheduling format
The number of possibilities, while not infinite, is almost endless. I expect that there is no solution that will satisfy everyone, or even a majority. I think they will eventually wind up with two 8-team divisions, with teams playing fewer that every other team in the division. Makes for some intere...
