It's True, it's true
Seeing SeaDog's title on the post confirming the fact that Jordyn Cambridge is returning gives me a smile every time I see it. Because of that, I've been hesitant to post anything, because it's so good to be reminded that Jordyn has decided to stay for another year. But that means that nobody looks ...

YAY!!!!! Now where's the old dancing banana when I really really need it?!
Seriously, though I'm thrilled she's coming back. That's huge for next season!

Re: Gino's Post-Game Comments Last Night........
I agree with pretty much everything -- ie., that Gino sounded like retirement might be pretty close at hand, that if he retires, they'd look to OUR COACH, it wouldn't be a smart move for her (following a legend is never easy), she wants to build something here, SHE'S OURS, etc etc etc.

Re: UConn-NC St
Speaking of last night's games, Chelsie Hall was outstanding for Louisville. I'm happy for her. She put in four years of work for us, so it'd be hard to begrudge her grad transfer that has gotten her to the Final Four. On the one hand, she probably would have helped us this year, but if she had stay...

Re: SEC Next Year
These are the teams hit hard by graduation and transfer: Kentucky, Missouri, Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, TX A&M - yes but to a less degree- Miss St. and FL. Virtually unaffected so far -Ark and Au. TN and SC should be top 2 ( if transfers for UT work out chemistry wise) The transfer market...

Re: Brinea Alexander
Curiosity got the better of me, so I poked around. Get a cup of coffee now, this is long! Ndorefin is correct in saying that Brinae Alexander not only doesn't appear on the 2021-2022 roster, but also not on the roster for preceding years. You can verify this yourself. Go to the roster page of vucomm...

Re: Koi Love in Transfer Portal
I thought that Koi would make an instant impact with Arizona but she didn’t get much playing time. Apparently she wasn’t a good fit. Kind of wish she would have hung around but then again, would we still have Coach White??? Akira Levy (Missouri-Vandy-Cincinnati-??) back in the transfer portal. I al...

Re: Koi Love in Transfer Portal
She's one of four Arizona players on the move. It used to be really unusual if not unheard for players to transfer twice. I guess those days are gone. No surprise that I think she would have been better off staying here, but of course that's easy for me to say. Not so easy when you're young and the...

Re: MTSU tonight 6:30 (Mar 24)
Welp, that's that. An exciting, scrappy ballgame, but it didn't end the way we wanted. Foul trouble hurt us. Still, the last few games have been a great finish to the season, with lots of extra practice and high stakes game experience for our returning players. Of course I would have liked us to win...

Sounds like there's a good contingent of Vandy fans. The fact that Iyana is from Murfreesboro probably helps.

Off to a good start -- VU up 17-6 late in the 1st, Rick Insell calls timeout. Sacha Washington continues to impress me so much with her post presence.

MTSU tonight 6:30 (Mar 24)
I really want us to win this game. Of course, I always want us to win every game, but this one is a post-season do-or-die game, a game against a local rival, and a chance for revenge for an earlier loss, so it would be a really good win if we can pull it off.

Re: Rickea Jackson To Tennessee
I feel like COVID and the transport portal have taken us to a strange new world. Some of the coaching changes over the past couple years just add to that feeling, Kim Mulkey at LSU, Taylor to A&M, for example. Or maybe it's just me stuck in the old days.
