Re: Peyton to Teach?

Supposedly he was a good student and made high grades. However, he went to UT at the time when all of UT’s football players made good grades and didn’t even attend classes most of the time. Linda Bentsel-Myers, who was a teacher at UT at the time, was outspoken about it and she received a lot of de...

If the BGA guy had not of fumbled deep in ND territory, Vandy might have won. Don't believe any ND player was near him and he just lost the ball!

Peyton to Teach?

Remember article admiring Manning's work ethic at Tennessee. How he watched film, practiced on the field, hit the weight room, etc. Wondered then, if he had any time left for academics?". My guess, he didn't. Very few, if any, athletes anymore are "real" students, working toward a de...

Wasn't Coach Lea awarded the assistant coach of the year when he left Notre Dame. He had experience!

really did mock the Iowa players or a player, then I wish LSU would have lost. Sick of the arrogance of athletes and seem to be interested less and less!

Re: Nobody deserved to lose that game, what a game

Thought the big center for Florida Atlantic started making some costly mistakes toward the end of the game. Late foul on Florida Atlantic at the San Diego basket was ridiculous; the FAU player did not even touch the shooter!

So the Dores can whip Kentucky again and Tennessee can be one and done. Now that's entertainment!

taste, but the 1st Amendment gives them the right to be jerks! I understand the disdain for Miller but if he is never charged with a crime or was later found not guilty, then he would have been the recipient of unjust treatment to himself and his future if not allowed to continue to play. Do we aba...

Even Though A Loss,....

I was greatly impressed that the Dores did not give up and still took the fight to A&M to the end. A lot of the three shots kept hitting the front of the rims, which was likely a sign of leg fatigue. Even being down as much as they were, I believe if the threes had dropped just somewhat better ...

which is fun to watch in comparison to Calipari raving and ranting. Never thought Stackhouse would cut it at Vandy but he apparently has turned the corner and appears to have secured employment! The referees were horrible; #34 (KY) camped out in the lane (guess refs can't count to 3) and was maulin...

anymore. 1.) The person who is fouled gets charged with the foul, example: shooter backs into the player guarding them (many times flagrantly), 2.) Offensive players loosing balance or tripping on themselves and the foul called on the defense, 3.) Palming and carrying the ball (it has gone way past...

Identify the students who rushed the court and make each pay an equal amount of the fine before they can graduate or receive their transcripts. If they are so glib about the rule being broken then make them pay the fine they caused!

The "by the skin of their teeth" win...

was SWEET! Went back and stopped the video, the ball was at least 12 to 18" inches out of the Vandy shooter's hands when the red backboard light came on. Close to say the least! Great win!

The NCAA Transfer Adjustment

Now anytime a player wants to transfer he will likely have a sudden case of mental duress. Personally I think a new college organization should be formed and dump the NCAA. Hopefully the perennial powerhouses would stay and everyone else leave. "Student Athletes", what a joke! They should...
