Re: For the Love of God, PLEASE....
For selfish reasons I pick UVA. Demand for Finals tickets and hotel rooms will be down compared to the other 3 teams. VA in there, lower prices and better availability of tix and rooms.

This Weekend Game Times Have Been Announced
Friday and Saturday are 11AM Central and Sunday is 2PM, if necessary. I hope it is not as hot as that Super against Louisville in 2013. I also hope the results are opposite that series.

That 1st game is an important game. You have to go with your best.

Re: Arkansas at Hoover
My wife and I have discussed how this team is starting to remind us of the 2014 team. They couldn't seem to get it together, pitchers were less than stellar, including some guys who were high draft picks. You didn't feel like some pitchers could be trusted to be used. Didn't think they had the grit ...

Re: Anyone seen the 30 man roster
I haven't seen one, but my wife told me earlier today that she saw Tim talking about it and it looked like Carter Young, LaNeve and Ethan Smith would all be on the roster. Doesn't mean they will play, but would be available. I couldn't tell you where she saw this, I would guess Instagram.

Has anyone received a parking ticket at the garage?
Someone on Facebook claimed they received a parking ticket in the garage on Friday or Saturday. Said they had been parking there for 20 years. I have been parking there for 10 years and parked there yesterday again. A VU police car was patrolling the garage and passed by us when we were pulling rain...

Re: Vandy-MSU #3
Personally, I would like to see Bulger in LF, Tate at 2nd, Noland at 3rd and Gonzo at DH. Gonzo's slow feet for any ball hit less than 90 feet and sometimes poor decision making are negatives that are greater than Bulger's OF deficiencies. Gonzalez has looked good when turning the 5-4-3, as long as ...

Fulmer vs Dansby
Dansby led off the 9th inning of a blowout win facing Fulmer. Fulmer got a 1-2 count on him before nailing Dansby in the back with what appeared to be a curveball. As he was walking it off around home plate, he glanced out at the mound 2 or 3 times with a slight grin. According to Chip Carey, Fulmer...

Re: Congrats to Sam Selman
I thought the same thing at first, that they were showing the worst ones. But most category ratings are not going to show the worst , but the best on down. I'm not familiar with this analytic, but I think it is a good thing, although with a small sample size. Someone that is aware of these new stats...

Re: Congrats to Sam Selman
Also saw during a Sunday baseball telecast that Sam is 2nd in the Majors in % of hard hit balls at 10+%. I think that is good stat.

Yaz plays in his Grandpa's ballpark
Yaz will play the Red Sox at Fenway Park tonight. I don't know who Yaz pulled for as a kid since his Grand Dad had retired, but you would think it was the Sox. Hope he blasts one to the opposite field over the wall or off of it.

Re: Next Year's Lineup to repeat
Don't be surprised to see Tyler Brown in a starting role next year. A few years ago, they were grooming Ben Bowden and Matt Ruppenthal for a starter in their last year during the fall and preseason practices. Bowden actually was a starter that year for about a month, but couldn't get past the 5th, i...

Re: Corbin & Raby
If you remember, by this point in the 2014 season, nobody wanted Tyler Beede to throw not even one more pitch in his Commodore career. Corbs started him in game 2 of the finals and the crowd sighed. He actually pitched a good game and left the game with runners on base in the 6th or 7th. The bullpen...
