I think Iowa State wanted to talk to him at one point.

Re: SEC standings / SECT pairings
I always get offers by email and I have had season tickets in Section D for 27 years. Not sure how they determine who gets the seats in the VU section.

Re: SEC standings / SECT pairings
Has anyone received anything from Vanderbilt about buying SEC Tournament tickets ? I am a season ticket holder so should get an offer to buy some soon I hope.

Re: How Much Longer
Some one correct me if I’m wrong, but I think what saved Stallings during one of those low points was he had a great recruiting class signed (Jeff Taylor, Tinsley, Ghilbourne, Festus, and Tchiengang, pardon the spelling). It was fun watching those guys develop even as we were losing. The slow improv...

Re: Random ruminations the morning after
I will not renew my basketball tickets next year if nothing changes, and I have been a season ticket holder for 27 years. I sit in Sec D, and I am so tired of being surrounded by TN fans, KY fans, AL fans, etc.
It used to be my favorite thing to do, it just been too frustrating the last 7 years.

Auric, I love your analysis, but losing Liam, Jordan and several more to the portal, Do you see this team being any better next year and making post season. If the answer is no, then it’s time to cut bait and find a real coach now. His legacy will be “below average coach - cost us the streak”.

Re: How Much Longer
Of course it's coaching. If not on-the-floor coaching, or practice coaching, then recruiting coaching. Bottom line, the buck stops at the head coach's desk. As far as I'm concerned, the buck should boot out the current coach and try, try again. Time to start looking, Candace. Pete, you are a long t...

Re: Stack post game radio interview.
So you were not at the 40 point loss to unranked and .500 Arkansas on March 6th of 2019? We were outscored 55 - 23 in the second half. I guess that would be "I wasn't there" as your answer. I am sure I was there, and that was bad, but tonight they came out walking, no layup line, no runni...

Re: Stack post game radio interview.
For the first time in a long time I finally witnessed Calipari outcoach someone. They wanted to speed up tempo on every position and we made no adjustments. Also, the way we came back on the floor after halftime was the saddest things I have seen in memorial gym in the 45 years I have been going to ...

Question for the experts
In a few years, teams that are 5-7 have gotten into bowl games due to not enough bowl eligible teams. The 5-7 teams are ranked by GPA and chosen by that and strength of schedule.
Could we get into a bowl this year that way ?

Re: Vandy hosting Southern Miss thread
The problem is we think we a “three point shooting team”, but we are terrible from 3. It’s time to start playing the freshmen and build for the future. After giving that huge contract extension, we are stuck with this coach for a while.

Re: Pippen
I am pretty sure he will not be back, but the possibility of going down as the greatest Vanderbilt player of all time, owning every record in the book, and even having a statue of him put up in front of Memorial Gym has to be a little appealing. ???????? agreed. methinks govu is jerking us around…....

As someone who has sent two daughters and a grandson to more than 30 basketball camps over the years, do your research. Their are two kinds of camps: Prestige Camps and Bluecollar camps. The prestige are all about the name and so a kid can wear a shirt saying they went (Duke, UNC, UT, Even VU are a...

Re: Have to play our best players
Why you would not have Liam on the floor the final 24 seconds was a huge coaching mistake. Their Big had fouled out and they could not stop him inside. He might have gotten that last rebound.
