Congratulations to all Commodores! What a great win over #15. This is devastating to them. They were in the mix to host the first weekend of the NCAA. Not too likely now. You won the way you played all year with defense, hustle and heart. Well done.

I have never heard a coach like her. How can you not want to play hard for her. I wonder if some of UConn's difficulties this year are because we don't have Shea.

You don't have to look very far away to see how fast a team can turn around. Kellie Harper has rejuvenated UT in 3 years. While it is a fact that she was left with a better bunch of athletes than CSR, there is an advantage that CSR has over the UT coach. When Kellie harper was in Missouri her recrui...

Re: Vanderbilt at South Carolina, 1-24-22, 6:00
If I know Shea, her practices are extremely hard. Players will exert more effort, intensity and energy in a practice than a game. There is a sustained emphasis on being better today. Every day you must get better in some area of D1 basketball. Some players have an early prolonged injury or just take...

Re: Coach Ralph and Special Guest Postgame at LSU
Wow, CSR does not sugar coat anything. Not very much coach speak here. I think we heard a snippet of what the team was about to hear and will hear during file review. Ii was excited for her (and You) when she came here. But this type of appraisal makes me know she is going to create a winner. I can'...

Re: Vanderbilt at Mississippi State, 1-9-22, 2 p.m.
Speed kills and without a rim protector as a final wall of defense Vandy got out quicked. I really like this team. It proves that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. I said in an earlier post expect this team to lose close games, but expect them to scrap and fight. I have some good news....

Re: Arkansas at Vandy, 1-6-22, 7:30 p.m.
What's the difference between plain old "field goal percentage" and "effective field goal percentage"? The effective field goal percentage is a statistic used in basketball to take into consideration the additional difficulty of three-point shots and the extra points awarded for...

And Vandy has not experienced Shea's impact on recruiting. The 23 class should have a couple of surprises in it.

Re: Brylee Bartram in Portal
One perspective the players have that the fan never sees or hears is what high school athletes are dropping by for an unofficial visit. I know CSR is working 100% on developing the product on the floor but I also know she is in full time recruiting mode. I am very curious in wondering what 'friends'...

OK First the loss wasn't by 30 points it was 17 74 to 91. The game was lost at the 3 point line. We were 6 for 22. they were 11 for 23. 15 of the 17 points are right there. They shot a lights out 47% from 3. Sonya Morris was incredible shooting 7 of 9 from deep. She won't be able to do that very of...

Re: I'm just about to bust!
It's my humble opinion, that because Shea was integral in the recruiting of the very top 2023, 24 and 25 recruits Vandy's rapid ascension up the ranks will give some nosebleeds. Shea has everything in which to recruit; a Vandy education, UConn level coaching, state of the art facilities (soon) and t...

I'm just about to bust!
I've got to say it! I told ya so! I told you the kind of team you were going to have this year. They are disciplined and scrappy. They won't quit and they won't back down. They are going to play good sound basketball and even in defeat, even if a beat down comes, you will not be ashamed of this team...

Re: Vandy v Arizona, 2:15 today
I am so impressed by what I saw today. A scrappy, disciplined team going toe to toe with one of the top teams in the country. Terrific team defense, consistent in running the half court offense. Patient and composed through most of the game. They were athletically outclassed. They were tremendously ...

Saylor is a great player and great kid. She's a great teammate and really liked by the ret of the team. Very coachable. She is a top level shooter regularly scoring from the logo. She entered school in January and played in about 6 games. She shot poorly and it was discovered she had a hairline frac...

Re: Recruiting rundown
I'd like to see more size offered. Toomey (aka the toominator) is a great prospect. Also AAlyah Del Rosario who just transferred to the Webb school in Bell Buckle should be on that list. She's a big that can handle and score from deep. I know CSR knows her from her time in New Jersey. Perhaps Letyci...
