Don’t get me wrong. I really appreciate the grit a fatigued defense showed in stuffing two 4th down and < a yard in the 4th quarter with the game not settled. I think it is a good indicator of the culture Lea is building. But I also thought Elon ran a couple of tentative and inept short yardage plays.

Wake’s RPO is slow by design. A very athletic DL can break it down or speed it up.

Marketing could try a variation of the Chicago White Sox anti-disco night promo from the late 70’s and stage a blow up of the new logo at half time. That might get butts in the seats.

One thing I haven’t seen discussed much here or elsewhere… I don’t recall seeing many stupid, untimely penalties or frivolous celebrating/showboating Saturday. Team seemed disciplined and focused, which I hope reflects the changing culture.
