This is a prime example of why it’s so hard to win the championship in college baseball. We lose (possibly) 2 games by 1 run each. Run into a pitcher who has best game of his life, make a crucial error, questionable call by umpire and season over

A huge mistake to have used Joyce for so long in a blow out on Friday. He wasn’t available to use in the 7th when Burns was clearly losing it. Team obviously misses hlibocki. Anyone know the status of Ethan smith and Myles Garrett? Garrrett had been pitching well but we haven’t seen him recently. Would also be really nice to have a healthy doolin and Jones.

I know he is trying to get them work, but Corbin can’t keep running out hlibocki and Maldonado for 3 innings in blowout games early in the series....we need those guys in game 3
