Re: Good Bye NCAA Maybe NIT What a bad performance
Bigger question is, can we get an NCAA caliber roster by start of next season? It needs some serious work without Robbins. Even with Robbins this season, the group was not really that close to tourney (barring a miracle run). I know guys will improve through summer but also risk some leave.

Re: IF Vanderbilt wins tonight...
That loss crushes at-large potential bid (it was slim anyways and we weren’t gonna go 3-0 next three games anyways). Plus it’s just hard to reel together major win streaks in SEC. A truly amazing run the past few weeks, but overall overshadowed by a bad two months to begin season. in spite of the e...

Re: Bizzaro Season
Judging by how massive Liam has been the past few weeks, certainly doesn’t exude anything more than average optimism for next season. He’s a huge chunk of our production that will be hard to replace (similar to how we struggled in non-conference this season in post Scottie world) Love how we’ve play...

I thought it was odd Jordan Wright played so little in 2H, thought he was injured until he came back in for last few possessions. But also, you have to love the experience Colin Smith is getting. I’m very impressed by the way Colin plays defense.

Re: There seems to be more noise after a loss than a win on this board.
Vanderbilt beats Auburn in the last second to notch its 5th straight SEC win, the first time since 2015. We've moved to 8-6 in the conference to climb into a tie for fourth place. And there is less activity on this board than if the opposite were true. Do more people here really want Stackhouse to ...

I think part of the reason is everyone was at the game! Memorial was amazing tonight, truly the best I’ve experienced since 2012.

Saturday night at Memorial
I noticed face value tickets are $73 after fees in 3rd level. Doesn’t that seem a bit steep? Still plenty available there too. I know we don’t want Auburn fans packing arena, but this is an incredible opportunity to provide best basketball atmosphere in 6+ years.

Re: Florida Win and Tournament hopes
I’d say 7 wins may do it through SEC tourney, any losses can’t be to South Carolina or LSU. As impressive as we’ve been this week, our margin is still razor thin. 5-3 our last 8 would be a solid performance and I think we wouldn’t sniff NCAA.

Re: What is the ceiling now
Big credit to team tonight - a very large win for program. The key now is stringing wins together before thinking of anything significant in postseason. No margin for error, will still most likely take a SECT win.

Re: Thomas knows someone-Special
I can totally understand folks' frustration as well as the counterpoints offered here. But...the notion that freshmen are going to transfer out NEXT year, because they didn't get PT THIS year doesn't make as much sense to me. Don't you all expect Dia, Dort, Shelby, and Lewis to get much more playin...

Re: Thomas knows someone-Special
Trey Thomas plays because he doesn’t turn the ball over. He might not fill up the bucket but he doesn’t give it away either. And he does hit 3's and he typifies most Vanderbilt student athletes: not highly recruited but hard working and team- oriented making the most of potential vs vastly talented...

Re: Starting lineup today may tell us a lot
As coach stated post game, he went with the veterans and you see it paid off. Once Jordan comes out of protocol the rotation will be even stronger. You always tighten the rotation at the end of the season. Play your best 8 players. Let’s be careful overreacting, Ole Miss is 9-14 (1-9) and has had a...

Re: Starting lineup today may tell us a lot
Players who need more minutes - Lewis, Dia, Smith, Manjon Players who need less minutes- Thomas, QMB Serious question: do you think QMB deserved less than 14 minutes today after going 4-5 for 10 points and pulling 5 rebounds during that limited time? I’d strongly encourage you to watch him exclusiv...

Re: Thomas knows someone-Special
It’s ridiculous how much he’s playing, could cause a younger guy to transfer bc Trey ate minutes. And Trey has not had a very good season, so it’s a bad look he’s “required by CJS” to be playing so much on his year 4 team.

Re: Shan Foster's take on the situation via Twitter
it may not be helpful, but telling... We tolerate CKS for 8 or so years, but some people have the torches out right now for the "arrogant" Stackhouse. Be careful, my friends, the world is watching and listening... To be clear, I do not believe we are dealing with overt racism, just unhapp...

Re: I'm about done
I’ve been saying frequently lately, how does our basketball program field a team in 23/24 that can make the tourney? I just don’t see it, losing Robbins and probably a few others to portal. We have no proof CJS can make major splashes in portal that take us to next level. And have the freshman reall...

Jerry alluded to younger players not being bought in to what they’re doing which is why they aren’t playing. I hate losing but it’s hard for me to fault Jerry for sticking to his guns on stuff like that. As a coach, i respect that. If you’re having trouble motivating guys you recruited in year 4 an...
