Re: Tennessee Tech tonight

Cut it to six at the half. Nice to see Pearl getting a bit more playing time. I think she could wind up being the best pure shooter on the team. Seems the game is starting to slow down for her a bit. Chelsie Hall's shot has left her so far this season. Have to feel like it will come back around. Rig...

Re: Tennessee Tech tonight

Very ragged first quarter, down 21-14.

Re: Seton Hall tonight 6:45

Hoping Chelsie Hall finds her shot sooner rather than later. She has struggled, but we've seen her shoot better in her first two seasons.

Re: Golden injury

It wasn't a collision that caused it. The knee bent in a way that it's not designed to do when she landed after a jump. Could have been a bit of collision after that, but it looked bad the way it bent. The only positive is she will likely get a redshirt year. She's someone that could help on defense...

Re: Akira Levy leaving Mizzou

I see she's enrolled in school, so that's good. She would have been the best player on our team last year along with Fos. Very fast, quick and has skills. Also very emotional and needed to be calmed down at times, but it mostly seemed to be youthful exuberance where she tried to do too much. https:/...

Re: Akira Levy leaving Mizzou

Nice. She's explosive. Might be more suited to what White wants to run than Missouri's offense. If the knee comes back, she'll be a big addition.

Re: Akira Levy leaving Mizzou

Is that the little freshman guard who tore her knee up late in the year? Good player. Kind of wild. If that is her you're talking about, I'm surprised she's leaving. She was set to take over a starting position. Does make you wonder what's going on with her. Wonder if she thinks they recruited over ...

Re: Rumor floating that....

Warlick is gone. Let's hope Walz stays put, but I'm guessing UT can throw a big ole bank roll at him.

Re: Beginning of the end

Whit, you should feel blessed that you can foresee a path to optimism. Right now, I just can't. Wow, I didn't think that post was optimistic! Haha...no, it wasn't optimistic, but I envy the fact that you can see the possibility of feeling optimistic in the future. I think it is an indication ...

I have never been a fan of any team on any level as frustrating as this one. It boggles the mind at times.

Re: Let's End the season Sunday with another W

Not only would it be a great way to end the regular season, a win Sunday would set up an opening round matchup with Ole Miss in the SEC tournament. That's as good a matchup as we can hope for, though no matchup will be easy for this team. If we lose Sunday, we get Alabama in the first round. While t...

Re: VANDY WOMEN JUST BEAT TENNESSEE IN KNOXVILLE!

I don't know if Fulmer has the heart to fire Warlick, but if they don't make the tournament, the heat will be intense to do so. I really hope they keep her. Her teams seem to consistently underperform, and that's good.

Re: 6-3 player

I've read at least one article that refers to SC's incoming class as perhaps the best ever in the women's game. The walkon is a great shooter who could be a big star at Vandy. But, SC has always been her dream, and I'm betting coach Staley hooks her up with a scholarship in a year or two. ETA: I'm b...

Re: Players who transferred

I felt like Paris had the best skill set at point guard I've seen at Vandy. Those skills weren't fully baked in her short time here, but she had something special. I always felt she was not best suited for coach Balcomb's system, and that is not a criticism of either of them. Personally, I loved coa...
