Re: CWS Second Game

Leiter is pitching a masterful game so far (knock on wood). It is nice they've never seem him, but he's keeping them guessing too.

Re: bye bye Pigs

I think this is good overall for us. Ark is tough and knows how to play us. That said, I'm watching Arizona totally dismantle Ole Miss right now (13-1 in the 7th).

Right! He is busy, he's adjusting and adapting, and it seems his staff is actively recruiting to fill our needs. This is good to see, indeed.

Ed Conroy Joins MBB Staff

"Having spent the past five seasons at Minnesota as an assistant coach and then associate head coach, Conroy didn’t just join Stackhouse’s staff because of a preexisting friendship. He said he has seen first-hand how fierce of a competitor the former NBA All-Star is and knows that competitive s...

Re: SI.com: Will 2021 be Bucs' Ke'Shawn Vaughn's breakout year?

I believe Vaughn can out perform Fournette and Jones, who are both good backs, if given the chance. I follow the Jags, and know Fournette. I was very surprised when the Bucs picked him up since they had Jones and drafted Vaughn in the 3rd round. I suppose by signing Brady they went heavy on the RB i...

Graduate Transfer Rodney Chatman signed

Another guard. Seems like he'll be a solid contributor and add depth, and he can play the point. He was on the talented Dayton team two years ago; "As a junior, he led the third-ranked Flyers in steals (40) and was second in assists (99) as Dayton finished 29-2 and was projected as a No. 1 seed...

Sounds good. It will be great having a guard who is a good shooter. Hopefully, he will be a consistently good shooter.

Re: Where this program stands

I think you've made some great analysis. "The main issue is getting enough seasons of high level play from these players is just not happening, which has meant that each year we are having to find a new alpha-dog to lead the team." Think of how hard it is to gel the group of changing playe...

Re: We take 2 of 3

Bradfield was pretty amazing even with the foot coming off the bag. He beat a pitch out and scoring on the pop up was pretty awesome. He's a threat to run any time.

Re: We take 2 of 3

It was a good 3rd game against a tough team. Very focused and determined team with Corbs putting the pressure on the vols through the whole game despite getting out to a large lead. Excellent base running and good runs manufactured with two outs.

Re: Loyola Chicago

I compare UF's choke late to Oral Roberts that I just watched to the great team ball of Loyola...UF gave up a small late lead and just didn't play well last few minutes. They had 15 seconds coming out of a time out to get off a potential 3 to tie the game, and they just sucked...no ball screen, no p...

Loyola Chicago

The Ramblers are my favorite team this tournament after putting on a basketball clinic against top seeded Illinois. I caught a good chunk of the 2nd half up to the end, and boy was it impressive. They've got very athletic guys who are quick, but boy are they well coached. I saw plays and screens and...

Re: Thoughts about the Season

I agree with this, "I am of the opinion that we saw enough from CJS to warrant optimism. I liked his game prep later in the season." I think we've seen CJS grow as a coach. The players have been playing better, as a team, and we've seen multiple players develop their games. I believe our t...

Super article. One thing that strikes me is how Buehler is such a student of the game...he's a smart pitcher and very progressive in his approach to the game. Thanks for linking the article!
