Re: Per the Draft Tracker

That’s a good question. It seems there’s always been a zone at which the chances of landing a prospect, on either side (school or MLB), fall off. When colleges secure one of these players who go the less expected route after being drafted in a high round (Beede, Alvarez for example) it can be a rea...

Re: Per the Draft Tracker

There’s got to be a way to handle this whole commit/draft/sign process that treats the colleges more fairly. That's not really MLB's problem, and I think the 3 year wait if they don't sign out of high school is a huge gift to the colleges. The way it is set up now, if your recruits are drafted in t...

Would also suggest that many of the reasons leading an athlete to choose ND would also apply to VU .

I had seen this from SDS previously, but didn’t bother posting here. It sheds a little more light on why the AG believes there is legal merit to threaten suit. Of course, I agree with the sentiment that he should have more important things to tend to. https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/tennessee-foo...

Re: OT: Serious allegations against Northwestern, Pat Fitzgerald

This is not "slap on the wrist" territory; need to be serious cosequences. Any incoming (2023 frosh) need to be allowed a freebie , no conseqence transfer. Fitzgerald has to have known of this and should be on the streets.

Got crushed like a Waring Blender (apology to Linda Ronstadt). LSU wins 5-0. OT: Waring Blenders still exist and are pretty much only for commercial use by restaurants and are priced accordingly. My favorite old game show prize from the 1970's? Tell them what they won Jay Stewart!! A year supply of...

Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread

I'm likely crazy, but, looking at the big picture and a real shortage of offensive talent, maybe we were lucky to have as good a season as we did. We are in the bottom tier of the SEC in most offensive statistics and our LOB numbers seemed bad to me. Who is our hitting coach and should we be shoppin...
