Challenges for Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt’s challenge is to do a little better in all three phases of the game. Missed field goals, turnovers and other blunders have cost the Commodores over the past three games. At the same time the Commodores can’t afford to be tight and over conservative if they want to have a chance at beating the No. 2 team in the nation.

Challenges for Georgia

Georgia’s coaches only have to refresh the Bulldog’s memory of their game against Vandy in 2016. In that game the Commodores pulled ahead in the fourth quarter via a Kalija Lipscomb touchdown reception from Kyle Shurmur. Both those players are still with the Commodores along with several other key players on both sides of the ball. Simply put, the Bulldogs can’t afford to take Vanderbilt lightly.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 6:30 pm CT and can be seen on SEC Network.
