Challenges for Ole Miss
Next to Alabama, LSU is the most physical and athletic team on the Rebel’s schedule. Some of the things Ole Miss did against teams such as Kent State and others will not work as well against the Tigers. It’s going to take some creativity by Ole Miss coaches on both sides of the ball to even the odds. Playing in Death Valley will also be a challenge. Tigers fans are probably the loudest fans in college football.
Challenges for LSU
LSU’s win recent win over a scrappy Louisiana Tech team was unimpressive but it was a victory and the Tigers are still perfect. Ole Miss brings a high powered offense to two, an offense led by one of the best QBs in the nation. Jordan Ta’amu has passed for 1,359, 10 TDs and just three interceptions this season. Alabama beat up on Ole Miss and Ta’amu pretty bad. The Tiger defense needs to use their athleticism to dominate the game and keep Ta’amu and the Rebels from piling up points.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 8 pm CT and can be seen on ESPN.
