Swanson's first multi homer game

Post by Titans309fan »

Swanson had a terrific game against the Pirates last night, with two two-run homers in a 6-1 win. It was his first multi homer game in the majors.

Seems like all of his homers are on pitches on the inner half of the plate, some even so far inside as to be a ball. Still "bites" too much on the sliders that end up being a foot and a half outside.

VERY true. His first at bat he K'd on a pitch 2 feet outside. The two homers were well on the inner half. Hit one the other night that other players might have backed off from. He seems to be seeing the slider a little better, but still strikes out on them too much.
