Burning Question- Will we have a Scoreboard by August 26?
As well as a 40 second clock on each end of the stadium. As of this morning, we have 1 and 1/3 of the Goal posts up.

I check in on the construction cams pretty often. I confident VU has a plan -- for scoreboards and the rest -- but with less than 3 weeks to go, it's like wow!?!
Also looks like game attendees won't be going from one side of the stadium to the other, unless they put up some kind of temporary construction walkways pretty quickly. Not that that's necessary but sometimes you visit with friends sitting on the other side.
I assume that sometime soon, they'll put out some gameday info, including gate access, concessions, etc.

Can't scamper or slither...but I used to swim.

Re: Burning Question- Will we have a Scoreboard by August 26?
To put everyone's mind at ease, i have drawn several sets of numbers 0-9 on 1' x 2' sheets of cardboard. And i found a countdown clock on amazon (or ebay i forget) that's big enough to see 5-10 yards away. There won't be any animation, or instructions, or anything like that. But the basics are covered. I have... not heard from CDD as of yet, but expect a call-text-email-im-dm-obgx sometime this week. And you'll be able to put a face to GV!, even if you don't want to.
AG, I'm REALLY glad to hear that. Mine wouldn't have been ready until mid-Sept. at the earliest.

Andrew Allegretta responded to a tweet of mine about this yesterday and said that VU was working with a concert production company who will bring in temporary video boards and scoreboards. That makes sense, given those companies work in all sorts of environments (think: Bonnaroo).

Sounds less than optimal
Always hopeful; rarely optimistic.
