I don't care who the ump is or what his strike zone is. If you let up 8 runs in 5 innings you aren't going to win

I hate blaming officials. Let’s just admit that Oregon is executing at plate better than vandy.

One last ump comment - he just gave Schreck an extra strike too.

No doubt they are, but you don't get the opportunity to execute when you are correctly called out on strikes. One of the effects of the tight zone is that pitchers have to throw to the fat part of the plate to get strikes. Fat strikes are much easier to hit.

Again, uppercuts.
Fly balls instead of line drives. Not working for us.

Bradfield first pitch swinging, lazy fly to end the threat.
Very frustrating.

Bradfield routine fly ball 3rd out in 6th. Again. Sigh...

Oregon couldn’t find the plate - they had just walked in a run. Espinal swings at a ball that would make it 3-1, bases loaded.
Oregon fielder makes a great play. But why swing at a ball inside at your hands in that situation? Must be patient, disciplined.
Our LOB - killing us. 5 in the last 2 innings alone.

Moore has been spectacular, but we are still 3 runs short.

Their leadoff guy does what Bradfield should do more often. Slap and run.
He’s dangerous as a leadoff base runner too. Adding pressure to our d.
Ginther is an interesting choice here straight off an injury.
I agree. I was disappointed Corbs made that choice since he had not pitched at all since being injured.

Patience works. Make him throw strikes.
