Even though he still has a pinned tweet that says "100% committed" to Vanderbilt, TE Ka'Morreun Pimpton has an Instagram story out today that reads "What's the move?" with four photos of him dressed in Vanderbilt, Texas, LSU, and Utah uniforms.
What's the move, indeed?
When will he announce his choice? He has not set a time (to my knowledge) for making his announcement known. He's going to keep everyone in suspense until... who knows?

We are the equivalent of the Tampa Bay Rays and LSU/Texas are the Yankees and Red Sox. But Tampa Bay has found great success. That’s going to be our (and other similar school’s) role model as well I suspect. Will not be easy by any stretch.

This kid may turn out to be a 1st round draft pick and perennial NFL All-Pro, but let him go. Maybe it's just me, but I see this class as one of the best in VU history, although the true grade won't be evident until 2-3 years in.

One thing I have to say about Pimpton in his favor before we let him go... he was quite inventive each time he expressed his elation over being offered by new school.
Here are some of his postings... they just kept getting better and better. Anyone who comes up with all these can't be all bad.

That's quite an offer list. Honestly, when Vanderbilt had him in camp and offered him, and he committed back in the summer, I don't think anyone except Vandy had any idea what a prize they had. But once the season started, film started circulating, he started drawing more and more attention from bigger and bigger programs, and his stock went through the roof.
I've seen situations like this before (see my "I would be very surprised if..." post from about two weeks ago). To me, the only surprise is that he ended up at LSU, not Texas.

Somebody who knows a reporter or journalist, can you please ask them how he puts on a signing show with Vandy, and a few days later decides that he goes somewhere else. Why have the signing? Was it leverage for more NIL $?
