This kid comes in and does the work since Rocker last week and he takes him out after 1 inning.

You might be actually referring to Berkwich.
His ERA is 4.26 and batters are hitting .286 against him.
By comparison, Hugh Fisher who rarely gets to play has a 1.08 ERA and a microscopic 0.40 batting against average.
Not sure what to make of this.

That was a promising outing yesterday. He also had a clean inning vs MSU a few weeks back, and given the shaky status of the pen at the moment, I believe he'll get some more looks.
Fisher just needs to throw strikes, which is easier said than done apparently. He has only given up 1 hit in 8 innings, but he has 8 walks. I think he is strictly a 1 or 2 left handed batter specialist as we head into postseason.
