And do I understand correctly… If you enter the portal, you forfeit your scholarship rights at your current school. And if nobody is interested in you, you can only go back to your current school if they offer you your scholarship back. Or you become a walk on. Is that right? Or you walk on somewhere else if nobody offers you a scholarship.

To summarize the news...
About 14 people have announced that they are running for Nashville mayor.
About half that number are Vanderbilt basketball players who have announced that they are the transfer portal.
The number was 10 and 5, and the ratio seems to be that 2 people run for mayor about at the pace of 1 entering the transfer portal.
