Vanderbilt’s late season run is the lead story, yet we still fall into the category of “Work to Do” to make the NCAA Tournament.

What I don’t understand is that several teams — including Mississippi State — have “Work to Do” but they have already been eliminated from their conference tournaments. How are they supposed to do this “work?”

They use "work to do" throughout the season and just don't want to rename the category now. Saying Miss St still has "work to do" just means "they're not a lock", so the bubble might treat them badly.
